I would like to express my thanks to you all after the purchase of my used Yaesu FT-1000MP Mk.V Field.

It's not often these days you receive the service I had from your good selves this week. After several conversations with Jason, I finally agreed that the Yaesu FT-1000MP was for me; he was neither pushy or negative in my endless list of questions and made promises that were kept even down to delivery.

For many years I have dealt with your nearest competitors. I sure was pleased that I rang Martin Lynch & Sons for this purchase. I hope to deal with you for many years and you continue to offer this level of service to amateur radio long into the future. I will of course tell my friends of the excellent way I was treated by Martin Lynch & Sons and the level of service you give. It always amazes me how a company like yours can get things just right. Dear Sirs,

I recently used your company to purchase a used AOR AR-7030 short wave receiver, and was so impressed with the service I received, I wanted to write and thank you.

I spoke to Jason over the phone, and the radio I was enquiring about had in fact been sold. But a second receiver in poorer condition was available at a lower price. I was a bit worried about the condition of the radio, but Jason described the state of it very honestly and accurately, and after confirming I would have seven days to return it should it prove unsatisfactory I went ahead and ordered it. My order and delivery instructions (which were a bit complicated) were dealt with efficiently and accurately and the radio duly arrived as requested on my birthday which was a fantastic and really made my day! You were right about the blemish on top of the radio, Jason. You only notice it when the light catches it and it doesn't detract at all from my enjoyment of it.

I used your company many years ago to order a brand new AOR AR-7030 and was very impressed then, both with yourselves and the radio. Then I lived in London and had the opportunity to test the radio in your store, which was connected to a Datong active antenna (which I also bought). I ended up having to sell the radio (you yourselves kindly bought it from me), and, after years without it, I wanted a AOR AR-7030 back in my shack. Also, my interests in short wave radio have changed. Back then I was an avid utility listener, but I have more recently become really into broadcast band DXing, and it is in this area that I feel the AOR AR-730 really shines.

It is indeed a fantastic piece of equipment and I am delighted to be, yet again, a proud owner of this wonderful receiver. So thank you again for all your help, both in this purchase and over the years.

Stobbs to thank you for your handling of his recent problems with his 'Ten-Tec RX350' receiver that he purchased from your good selves not too long ago. As you are aware Mr Stobbs had a number of problems with this radio that did not make themselves apparent at the time of his purchase.

I am happy to report that after my telephone conversation with your good selves and the subsequent repairs carried out by AOR UK. I can now report that Mr Stobbs is now completely satisfied and absolutely delighted with the result.

If it had not been for your understanding and a show of good will on your part Mr. Stobbs would have been left with an appreciable amount of pay for these repairs. It is with a great sense of gratitude that Mr. Stobbs thanks you in this matter. Hello all,

Just a quick note to say thank you for the hospitality shown to both myself and Tim, M3SDE, today. To be greeted at the door by Martin and then for him to make a coffee for both of us was fantastic. It actually reminded me of the days of Bernie and Brenda at ARE in Ealing. And then for Chris to chat with us for over an hour again made me feel like I was a special customer, not just a "quick take his money and get him out" type of customer.

Also an apology for disturbing your lunch, I know how it is when you are trying to eat and customers come in from my days in car sales. Not had time to play with any of the kit yet, I need to re-arrange the shack desk before I set the Yaesu FT-2000 up and get on the air, plus a good read of the manual is in order so I am not posting simple questions on the Yaesu FT-2000 forum.

Again thanks for the coffee and hospitality, we will be suggesting a club trip down to see you guys some time in the future.

I would just like to thank you for the brilliant service you gave me and the support all your staff gave during the insurance claim and purchase of other items. Been disabled after a head injury I struggle organising etc. but your team relieved me of all the pressure and stress. I will not be going to another amateur radio shop unless you can't supply the goods I should require.

It is very rare to find a shop that doesn't just want your money but wants what is best for your and usually at a cheaper price all that with polite courtesy and the being human element.
