The selection filter control can be automatically or manual, a microprocessor reads the input frequency and select automatically the filter, in case of the control panel selector is switched to a different band, the microprocessor advise the operator with an alert tone . A temperature sensor advise with alert tone about any over-temperature and lock the power amplifier to avoid any damage to the final transistors . The SLA-817 is also protected against high ROS .The minimum input SWR applicable is 1.1/1,5 the max antenna SWR is 2,5.
